THE AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY MISSION STATEMENT

 

In the spirit of Service, Not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace, and security.

 

THE AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY VISION STATEMENT

 

The vision of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion while becoming the premier service organization and foundation of every community providing support for our veterans, our military, and their families by shaping a positive future in an atmosphere of fellowship, patriotism, peace, and security.

 

Poppy Program

The Poppy program is the oldest and most widely recognized Auxiliary program. Each year around Memorial Day, Auxiliary volunteers distribute millions of bright red, crepe paper poppies in exchange for contributions to assist disabled and hospitalized Veterans. Learn more >

There are many ways that the American Legion Auxiliary supports our men and women serving our country. If you would like to join the largest women's patriotic organization or find out how you can get involved, click here>

Youth Programs

The American Legion Auxiliary has a variety of fun and challenging programs for every youth. Those programs include: Sunflower Girls State, Cadet Law, Oratorical Contest, and Junior Program. Click on the programs which intrest you!
