EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

DEPARTMENT OFFICE ASSISTANT

Part-time position

Hours: usually 20 hours per week, occasionally 25 hours per week

The duties and responsibilities of the Department Office Assistant will be assigned and monitored by the Department Secretary/Executive Director and Acting Treasurer. Such duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering the telephone, filing, and running local errands. The Office Assistant position will gradually be expanded to include all financial duties and responsibilities required of a Department Treasurer.

All applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.

All applicants must have excellent customer/member service skills.

Applicant's abilitity to be bonded is required.

An applicant's knowledge of Quickbooks financial software, tax forms, and how to complete such tax forms is a plus, but not required for this position.
